The 29-year-old, who has also previously turned out for Mamelodi Sundowns and BidVest Wits in South Africa, has been handed a four-year contract and follows the capture in the last few days of Innocent Nemukondeni and Junaid Sait.

Uzoenyi competed for Nigeria in the 2014 African Nations Championship, and later went to the Fifa World Cup in Brazil, playing one match against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
