    Nigerian beaten up in India

Four persons were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly beating a Nigerian national and tying him to a pole after he allegedly tried to burgle a house in Malviya Nagar last month.

The police registered a case and arrested Krishan Kumar after a video of the incident surfaced on Monday. Nigerian national Ahmad (27) had allegedly entered Mr. Kumar’s house to commit burglary on September 24. Mr. Ahmad has been arrested in connection with the case and is in judicial custody.

The police arrested Sanjay alias Montu, Kamal Kant, Mahavir and Mukesh on Tuesday, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (south) Ishwar Singh. They were identified on the basis of CCTV footage.

The police questioned Mr. Ahmad on Tuesday. He was asked about his address here and his passport but did not cooperate, said an officer.

What do have to say about this? Hundreds of Nigerians experience this kind of inhumane treatment daily in various countries of the world  like Libya.
