Nigeria Releases First Photo of Ailing President Muhammadu Buhari in 80 Days

Ailing Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari dining with APC leaders

For over 80 days now, Nigerian have been unable to see their democratically elected president Muhammadu Buhari due to an undisclosed illness that has taken him away from public glare.

A photo has just been released showing Nigeria President Buhari and some chieftains of the country’s ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja House, London.

President Muhammadu Buhari has been struggling with an undisclosed illness since the start of the year and has spent hundreds of days out of the country receiving medical treatment in the United Kingdom.

The doctors in charge of Buhari say, he will be fine soon and back in Nigeria to continue his duty as number one servant of Nigeria nation.

Because of the secrecy Nigeria government is creating over the health status of Mr. President, there have been speculation in every noon and cranny of Nigeria that Muhammadu Buhari may have died.

By releasing his pictures, the people in power hope to assure Nigerians that the president is very much alive.

One of the Nigerian rulers who visited Muhammadu Buhari in London, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha says:

By our visit to London… the merchants of lies have been put out of business and Nigerians will not buy the garbage they have been selling. All those who look up to fake news can find better use for their time

You will recall that President Muhammadu Buhari was in London on January 19, 2017 for 10-day medical leave, which was extended till March. On returning to Nigeria, the president could not act well in office until left for London again on May 7. Since then Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been the man acting on his behalf.
