Nigeria and England tussle over Everton youngstar Ademola Lookman

Ademola Lookman, a newly discovered football sensation, playing for Everton FC, is one of those players the Super Eagle coach Gernot Rohr is dreaming to have in his team.

The 19-year-old footballer has made an instant sway since his £11million January move to Goodison Park

Nigeria is intensifying her attempts to woo Ademola Lookman away from England.

The striker Lookman, 19, is the current gold mine Nigeria and England are struggling over after making an instant impression since January, 2017 when he moved to Everton on £11m transfer deal from Charlton.

London-born Lookman has featured for England’s under 19s and under 20s but is now needed by Nigeria, who he is also qualified to play for through his parents.

Lookman’s agents head discussion with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) officials some days ago about his international prospect.

Now Nigeria Super Eagle Manager, Gernot Rohr, is arranging to travel to England to discuss with the youngster and persuade him to shift allegiance to his motherland.

Rohr wants to act quickly and has set aside a place for Lookman Ademola in his squad for Nigeria’s friendly matches.

Lookman has been part of the team in Everton’s last five games since his big-money transfer from Charlton.

He stiked the net some minutes after coming on for his debut against Manchester City and made his way into Ronald Koeman’s first eleven for the Toffees’ last two games.

My best advice for Ademola Lookman is switching allegiance to Nigeria because playing for Super Eagle is a sure bet for great international football career. England, like many in the past players, after some games, The Three Lions will dump you. ZAHA of Crystal is a very good example. But he realized it fast, changed his mind and played for his motherland Ivory Coast instead of England. Take your club career serious and never turn your back to a country like Nigeria with which players soar high like eagles.
